Avonille M. "FUZZ" (Black) Dunmire

Avonille M. (Fuzz) Black Dunmire, 82, of Ruffsdale, Pa. died Sunday July 1, 2018 at her home. She was born November 7, 1935 in Kane, Pa. Daughter of the late Cecil F. and Anna Black. Prior to her retirement, she was a laborer at the Sawell Plastic Company where she worked on the pop bottle assembly line. Avonille was very family oriented. She loved cooking, the outdoors and especially loved the Steelers and the Penguins. She is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Robert Dunmire and two brothers – Butch Black and Richard Black. She is survived by four sons – Roger Black of Greensburg, Pa., Robert Dunmire of Ruffsdale, Pa., Rodney Dunmire of Ruffsdale, Pa. and Ronald Bowman and wife Kim of Greensburg, Pa., three daughters – Mariann Shaffer and husband Doug of Ruffsdale, Pa., Lynda Dunmire of Ruffsdale, Pa., Leslie Dunmire and friend Bob Brush of Madison, Pa., seven grandchildren – Matthew, Joshua, Adam, Dakota, Ryan, Hailey and Grace, one great grandchild – Aiden Shaffer (who loved to talk baseball with gram), one sister – Shirley L. Black of Greensburg, Pa. and her very special dog Ellie. At the family’s request, there will be no services. Interment will be private. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
