Cyrus P. Cunningham “Tub”, 91, of Ruffsdale, Pa. died Sunday August 12, 2018 at The Grove at Irwin. He was born July 7, 1927 in Tarrs, Pa. Son of the late Cyrus P. and Marie M. McBeth Cunningham. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, a member of Blyth Masonic Lodge #593 of West Newton, and a member of The United Church of Christ in New Stanton. Cyrus is preceded in death by a daughter Alice Fox, two brothers, Clarence and Norman Cunningham; two sisters, Mildred “Ted” Cunningham and Alberta Ramsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Genevieve Moore Cunningham; two sons, Ralph C. Cunningham and wife Rita of Irwin, Ted R. Cunningham and wife Dawn of New Stanton, one daughter Millie Blanish “Daryl Dermotta”; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to the time of service at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, Pa, with the Rev. Paul L. Westcoat officiating. Interment will follow at the Seanors Church Cemetery in Hempfield Township.
