Frank A. Bregar

Frank A. Bregar, 88, of Greensburg, formerly of Herminie, Pa., died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Weather Wood Manor in Greensburg. He was born December 11, 1930 in Herminie, Pa. Son of the late Frank and Jenny Yuvan Bregar. Frank was a member of the St. Edwards catholic church in Herminie. He was the Head usher for the church for over 50 years as well as a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a lifetime member of the SNPJ lodge #87 of Herminie. He was the Regional Vice President, Secretary, treasurer, as well as many other Capacities for many years. He loved working at all the SNPJ festivals throughout the years. He was a member of the Herminie VFD as well as the Herminie Lions Club. Frank also loved to go hunting in his early years. He is preceded in death by both parents and a son William P. Bregar (2012). He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Margaret E. Tepke Bregar of Greensburg. A son Dr. Frank W. Bregar and wife Dr. Melissa McNeil of Pittsburgh, Pa. Two grandchildren; Jessica Elizabeth Bregar of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Dr. Amy Jean Miller and husband Jeff of Boston, Mass. And one Great granddaughter Abigail Ann Miller. A private visitation will be held for immediate family members only on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 9am at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Route 136, Madison, Pa. To be followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St Edwards Catholic Church, 120 St Edwards Ln. Herminie, Pa. 15637 with Fr. Richard Ulam OSB officiating.
