Grace Pearl (Hopkin) Wolfe

Grace Pearl Hopkin Wolfe, 85, of Madison, Pa. died Saturday December 15, 2018 at the Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pa. surrounded by her family. She was born February 3, 1933 in Madison, Pa. Daughter of the late Walter Leonard and Elizabeth Emma Maughan Hopkin. She was a member of the Downtown United Methodist Church in Madison, Pa., as well as, a member of the Herminie Senior Citizens Center in Herminie, Pa. She loved going camping at Pymatuning Lake with her family. Grace was not afraid to get her hands dirty while helping her husband trim the grass and dig graves at the Madison Union Cemetery for years. She was known to go to a few flea markets and collected baby dolls. Most of all she loved her birds and her puppies, as well as her friend Preacher Bob. She is preceded in death by both parents, husband of 65 years Garland H. Wolfe, an infant daughter – Mary Ann Wolfe, a granddaughter – Alesha M. Brasco, a grandson – Chad G. Wolfe and two brothers – Walter Leonard and Robert Hopkin and son in law Harry A. Emmert. She is survived by one son – Garland H. Wolfe and wife Marge of Madison, Pa., five daughters – Mary Emmert of Madison, Pa., Marlene Brasco and husband Daniel of Madison, Pa., Elizabeth Shank and husband James of West Newton, Pa., Pamela Hoak and husband Jeffery of Madison, Pa., Maelee Graft and husband James of Everson, Pa., twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday December 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Route 136 Madison, Pa. Services will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Green officiating.
