Karen D. (Ondrejko) Evansek

Karen D. Evansek, 67, of West Newton, Pa. Died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa. She was born April 11, 1951 in Greensburg, Pa. Daughter of the Late Albert Ondrejko and Helen Miskovich Ondrejko of Yukon, Pa. Prior to her retirement, Karen was a Phlebotomist at Jefferson Hospital. She was very fond of watching birds. She loved all animals and especially, she loved her Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father. Husband Lawrence P. Evansek and a brother Dennis Ondrejko. She is survived by One daughter Marisa Abbott and husband Scott of Rostraver Twp., Pa. Two sisters, Marlene Kovach of Hunker, Pa. and Alison Maughan of Madison, Pa. Two Grandchildren, Ava and Isaac Abbott. Karen will be greatly missed. A private interment will be held at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery, Hempfield Twp. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Route 136 Main St. Madison, Pa. in charge of arrangement’s.
