Matthew P. Shaffer, 34, of Arona, Pa. died Tuesday January 8, 2019 at the Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pa. He was born March 24, 1984 in Greensburg, Pa. Son of Paul D. and Mariann Dunmire Shaffer of Ruffsdale, Pa. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Margaret Washabaugh Shaffer, his maternal grandmother Avonille Dunmire and maternal grandfather Robert Dunmire. He is survived by both parents and his paternal grandfather Paul Shaffer of Arona, Pa. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, Pa. in charge of arrangements. Interment will be private.
