Agnes B. (Lukacs) Vincent, 88, formerly of West Newton, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Brookdale Latrobe in Latrobe, PA. She was born on January 19, 1934 in Trauger, PA. Daughter of the late John and Regina (Sanders) Lukacs. She was a graduate of Hurst High School. Agnes was a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church for 50+ years where she was involved in the Altar Rosary Society, as well as the Sunshine Club and the prayer shawl ministry and enjoyed many church bus trips. She enjoyed knitting and any kind of needle work, playing cards, teaching her friends at Brookdale to play Triominos, and was an avid Bingo player. She was known for her ever-growing collection of angels. In her younger years, she had an extensive vegetable garden and canned and froze the produce. She is preceded in death by both parents; her husband Ralph J. Vincent; three brothers, John, Bernard and Emory Lukacs and two sisters, Helen Dunn and Regina Bibby. She is survived by one son, Robert R. Vincent (Yili) of Marietta, GA; four daughters, Catherine E. Nowakowski (Michael) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Victoria Bradley of McKeesport, PA, Stella Obradovich (Gary) of Johnstown, PA and Joanne Lopinsky (Anthony) of State College, PA; six grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and one on the way. Friends will be received from 9:30 – 11:30 am on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral mass will be held at 12 pm on Friday, December 2, 2022 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 120 Herminie Rd., Herminie, PA 15637, with Fr. Vincent Yee-Concepcione officiating. Anyone wishing to attend the mass is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Brookdale Latrobe, especially Dori, Denise, and David. During her year there, Agnes was very well cared-for, made new friends, and had a lot of fun.
