Barbara A. (Rothwell) Shoaf

Barbara A. Rothwell Shoaf, 71, of West Newton, Pa., died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Excela Westmoreland in Greensburg, Pa. She was born June 17, 1947 in Greensburg. Daughter of Geraldine Rizzi Rothwell of Herminie, Pa. and the late Dean Rothwell. Barbara was a member of the Herminie UMC where she was the choir director and organist for more than 20yrs. She loved to travel with her husband as well as listening to oldies and country music. She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter Chrissy McCabe. She is survived by her mother; Her loving husband of 51yrs, Kenneth Shoaf. A Son Randy K Shoaf and wife Patty of West Newton, Pa. Son in-law William McCabe of West Newton, Pa. Two grandchildren; Samantha and Dustin. One brother Frank Rothwell of St. Louis, Missouri, and one sister Linda Williams and husband Tom of Herminie, Pa. Friends will be received on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Route 136 Main St., Madison, Pa. Services will take place on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Landman officiating. Interment will follow in the West Newton Cemetery, West Newton, Pa.
