Carol N. (Nicoletto) Bolk, 79, formerly of Madison, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Mountain View Memory Care in Greensburg, PA. She was born February 3, 1943 in Madison, PA. Daughter of the late Jack P. and Norma Jean (Dennick) Nicoletto. She graduated from the former Sewickley Township High School. Carol received her Master of Education from California University of Pennsylvania in 1967. She worked for her entire career at Hempfield Area School District as a first and third grade teacher at St. Clair and Fort Allen Elementary Schools. She returned to teaching English as a Second Language for Belle Vernon School District after earning her ESL certificate in 2004. She was a great teacher and loved working with her students. Carol was a very proud, feisty, and outspoken person. She enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, doing crossword puzzles, going to the casino, watching the History channel, and listening to oldies music. Carol enjoyed traveling; vacationing with her late husband in Atlantic City and visiting family in the Florida Keys and Europe. She is preceded in death by both parents; her loving husband, Albert J. Bolk and beloved companion, Dozer. She is survived by her cousins, Ashley Bollinger of Apollo, PA and Michael E. Petrillo (Petra) of Johns Island, SC and second cousins, Sophia and Lukas. A private interment service will take place at the Madison Union Cemetery in Madison, PA. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 at 2pm with Rev. Randy Sweet officiating
