Catherine (Levine) Sinnamond

Catherine (Levine) Sinnamond, 86, of Rillton, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at UPMC East in Monroeville, PA. She was born March 22, 1935 in Greensburg, PA. Daughter of the late John and Mary (Labasky) Levine. After high school, Catherine went on to become a waitress and bartender at the Central Hotel in Yukon, PA for many years. Catherine was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Irwin, PA Lodge #1671. Catherine was a very loving and caring mother and friend. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, going to bingo and listening to polka music every Sunday. She attended many dances at the Yukon Slovenian Hall and Croatian Club in Yukon, PA where she would polka dance with her husband. She traveled to Ocean City, MD every year with her family; putting her feet in the ocean water and walking the board walk. In her younger years, she visited her aunt’s farm where she would play in the barn and do chores. She is preceded in death by both parents, loving husband – John A. Sinnamond, one daughter – Tracy Kolar, one grandson – James Sinnamond, three sisters – Elizabeth L. Higgins, Mary Smith and Margie Kolar and three brothers – Joe, John and Mike Levine. She is survived by three sons - Randy (Cheryl) Sinnamond of Jeannette, PA, Stanley (Kim) Sinnamond of Ruffsdale, PA and Melvin Sinnamond of Bentleyville, PA, three daughters – Amy J. ( fiancé Joseph Antonich) Bell of Rillton, PA, Cathy Mullaert of Herminie, PA and Shawn (Wayne) Toth of Sicamore, PA, ten grandchildren – Jessica Sinnamond, Hayley Sinnamond, Holly Sinnamond, Steven Sinnamond, Michael Bell, Jenna Ritter, Jonathan Toth, Hannah Toth, Justin Toth and Megan Harris and four great grandchildren – Craig, Dominic, Kourtney and Shawna. Services will be private. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA in charge of arrangements – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. Interment will be private.
