David P. Kristoff

David P. Kristoff, 75, of Ruffsdale, PA, passed away October 10, 2020 at Hillside Estates in Connellsville, PA. He was born March 29, 1945 in Whyles, PA. Son of the late John and Lillian Hamilton Kristoff. David was a graduate of South Huntingdon High School Class of 1963. He then went on to work as a coal miner for 15 years and then retired from Westmoreland Water Company where he worked as a utility man for 20 years. David was very devoted to his church; never missing a Sunday Service. He would often go with his grandson Christopher to the local nursing homes to visit with the residents. He enjoyed watching football and baseball, but loved watching golf. He enjoyed cutting grass and always made sure the lines were perfect. He is preceded in death by both parents and two brothers – Jim and John Kristoff Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years – Betty L. Vucinich Kristoff of Ruffsdale, PA, one son – Lee Cline and wife Michele of Greensburg, PA, two daughters – Debra Shirley of Avonmore, PA and Kelly Billheimer and  Jonathan of Scottdale, PA, two brothers – Donald Kristoff and wife Pauline of NJ and Alex Kristoff and wife Karen of Wyano, PA, one sister – Rosanne Ohler and husband Lloyd of New Stanton, PA, seven grandchildren – Christopher, Alyssa, Cayley, Jenna, Noah, David and Addyson and three great grandchildren – Ryder, Braxton and Maddix and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA. Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A public graveside service will be held on October 14, 2020 at 12 noon at the West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, PA with Pastor Robert Ross officiating.
