Donald B. “Big Foot” Sutor, 68, of Everson, PA, formerly of Hunker, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA surrounded by his family. He was born February 18, 1955 in Greensburg, PA. Son of the late R. Orland and Evelyn (Foutz) Sutor. He was a graduate of Hempfield Senior High School Class of 1973. Donald worked and retired from Precise Technologies Inc., as well as working at LaNature’s, NAPA and Westmoreland Electric. He was a volunteer fireman for the Hunker Fire Department. He was also a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Hunker, PA, the Hempfield Hunt Club and the Youngwood Moose. He was his wife’s personal uber and was very proud of it! He was down to earth and was a strong Christian man. He is preceded in death by both parents and brothers, Vernon, Jackson and Gregory Sutor. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy J. (Shindehite) Sutor; special nephew/godson, Adam Sutor; brother, Rand (Peggy) Sutor of Connellsville, PA; sisters, LaWanna Sutor of DE, Jessie Devlin of MD, Leana (John) Mings of DE and Elaine Sutor of MD; sister-in-law, Blanche of New Stanton, PA and Lynn of Greensburg, PA; nieces, Rachel (Dan), Elizabeth (Brendan), Shirley (Gary), Helen (Tony), Nicole, Gena (Bill); nephew, Junior and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 – 4 pm and 5 – 8 pm on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A Fireman's Service will be held at the funeral home at 7pm on Monday with the Hunker VFC. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Clement officiating. Interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA.
