Donald D. Wiley, 84, of Herminie, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA. He was born October 14, 1937 in Elizabeth Township, PA. Son of the late John A. Sr. and Alice L. (Wilson) Wiley. Donald served in the Army as a Specialist during the Korean War. He worked and retired from the Paper Craft Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA after 20+ years of service, where he made Christmas wrapping paper. Donald was a member of the International Paper Workers and Makers of America Local #1446 and a 50+ year member of Hilltop United Methodist Church in Madison, PA. Donald loved to spend time in his garden, listen to country music and play Solitaire. He loved to hunt and enjoyed spending time with his son in the woods. Donald really enjoyed talking about growing up on the family farm and working with his father. He is preceded in death by both parents - John A. Sr. and Alice L. (Wilson) Wiley, grandson – Cody Wiley and one sister – Sarah E. Novak. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years – Shirley J. (Yutzy) Wiley of Herminie, PA, two daughters – Luella J. Wiley of Herminie, PA and Shirley E. Beckinger and husband Dennis Jr. of West Newton, PA, one son - Edwin A. Wiley and wife Angela of Greensburg, PA two grandchildren – Billie Jo Wiley, Shianne Wiley, three step-grandchildren - Masin Miles, Evan Miles, Emma Martin, one great grandchild – Angus Wiley, one brother – John Wiley Jr. and wife Lee and numerous nieces and nephews. Services are private. Interment is private.
