Dorothy M. (Koby) Stepinsky

Dorothy M. (Koby) Stepinsky, 91, of Irwin, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born February 9, 1931 in Keystone, PA. Daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Kozar) Koby. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and cooking and having her family at her home during the holidays. She was a lifetime member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Herminie, PA. She was also a member of SNPJ (Slovene National Benefit Society). She enjoyed listening to polka music on the radio; especially the John Pawlowski radio program every Sunday. She loved going polka dancing with her husband to various local clubs. Dorothy was a very social woman and loved her family immensely. She is preceded in death by both parents, loving husband – Chester Stepinsky, sisters – Emma Peters, Jenny Logesky, Rose Gramlich and Fran Smith and brothers – Frank Bobniz and Anton Bobniz. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A private blessing service with Fr. Vincent Yee-Concepcione as celebrant will be held at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. Interment will be private at the Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, PA.
