Fonda D. (White) McCartney

Fonda D. White McCartney, 65, of Hunker Pa. passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home. She was born February 16, 1953 in Moulton, AL. She was the daughter of J.W.White of Moulton, AL and the late Rita Fowler Savell. Fonda loved the simple things in life. She was very family oriented, loved doing yard work and gardening and she had a niche for ceramics. She is preceded in death by her mother and one daughter, Tannah B. McCartney Walko. She is survived by her Father J.W. and Mavene White of Moulton, AL. Her loving husband of 43 years Daniel A. McCartney of Hunker, Pa. Two sons – Christopher H. McCartney and significant-other Mindy Brown of New Stanton, Pa., Daniel A. McCartney Jr. of Tampa, FL., five grandchildren – Danny 3rd, Breana, Brooke, Devon and Makayla. Two great grandchildren, Alexis and Conor, and numerous brothers and sisters. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home Inc. Rt 136 Madison, Pa. Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Sweet officiating. Interment will be private.
