Frank M. Gradisek

Frank M. Gradisek, 59, of Louisville, KY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was born October 3, 1962 to Frank E. Gradisek and the late Catherine (Medved) Gradisek. Frank grew up in many places including: Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania and finally Kentucky, which was the birthplace of his beloved daughter. He was a graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Safety Engineering & Health. He was a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Slovene National Benefit Society (SNPJ). He was proud of his Slovenian and Croatian heritage. He retired from Whitney Young Job Corp., where he was known as their “Safety Frank”. Frank was an avid motorcyclist and car enthusiast, and had a talent for art and drawing. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, was always willing to lend a helping hand and loved sharing his knowledge and wisdom. He left a deep impact on this world and everyone he met and will be sorely missed by everyone in his life. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Catherine Gradisek (née Medved). He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth G. Ross (Justin), brother Vincent M. Gradisek (Beverly), sister Karen G. Budd (Doug), niece Sophie Budd and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received from 5 – 8 pm on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at St. Edwards Church 120 St. Edwards Lane, Herminie, PA 15637 with Fr. Vincent Yee-Concepcion officiating. Interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park in Greensburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to SNPJ Scholarship Fund, 247 West Allegheny Road, Imperial, PA 15126.
