James K. Tedesco, Known by friends as Tex, passed away at the age of 74 on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Westmoreland Manor. Born April 30, 1045 in Greensburg, Pa to the late William K. and Viola Grace Grimm Tedesco. Jim graduated from S. Huntingdon High School in 1964. He worked for International Paper for several years before opening his own gun shop. He was passionate about working with his hands, creating custom full size and miniature muzzle loaders and knives, and fascinated with automated machinery programs. In later years, he worked as a machinist for Tedesco manufacturing and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Uniontown. His last project was construction of a “Kitty Castle”. Jim loved animals, enjoyed doowop and country music, flea markets and auctions, and likely watched every B cowboy movie, cowboy sitcom and war movie ever made. He is survived by his loving wife of 54yrs – Sharon D. Tedesco of Wyano, Pa, two daughters – Cindy Manski and husband Andrew of Irwin, Pa, and Rachel Tedesco of Wyano, Pa, One brother – Gary W. Tedesco of Hopwood, Pa, Two Step Grandchildren – Faith and AJ Manski and his favorite feline companion Missy. Private visitation will be held at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. in Madison, Pa. Ronald A. Rich Sr. Supervisor – Ronald A. Rich Jr. Funeral Director. Private interment will follow at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, Pa. with Pastor Beth Dunlap officiating.
