Joseph (Jr.) Weisend

Joseph Weisend Jr., 51, of New Stanton, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in New Stanton, PA. Joe was born November 2, 1970 in Latrobe, PA. Son of the late Gay J. Sr. and Victoria Ann (Pascuzzi) Weisend. Joe was a graduate of Norwin High School Class of 1989. Joe was a maintenance manager for 14 years at Elliott Company in Jeannette, PA. He enjoyed boating and camping at Pymatuning Lake and Yough Lake with his family on the pontoon. Joe loved older muscle cars and riding his UTV. He was an excellent carpenter, painter and electrician; building his home and “always making everything work.” Joe loved his family and spending time with them; especially his grandbabies. He was an excellent cook; making delicious breakfasts and steaks on the grill and enjoyed listening to old country and classic rock. He is preceded in death by both parents and survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 31 years – Bobbi J. (Sames) Weisend of New Stanton, PA, one son – Joseph Weisend and wife Briana of Madison, PA, two grandchildren – Reagan and Bailey Weisend, one brother - Justin Weisend of Irwin, PA and one sister – Danae Deabenderfer and husband JJ Loughner of Irwin, PA and best friend of 35 years - Rich Truxal. Friends will be received from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. Interment will be private. Masks are highly recommended to be worn while in the funeral home.
