Kevin Lee Golden

Kevin Lee Golden, 61, of Ruffsdale, PA passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 24, 1960 in West Palm Beach, FL. Son of Norma J. Basinger Miller of Greensburg, PA. Kevin was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1979. He received his CDL license as well as certification in General Masonry. Kevin was an employee for UPS where he worked as a laborer for over 13 years. Kevin was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus where he became a Grand Knight. He was also involved with the local 4H Club. Kevin was a very honest and out spoken person. He was loved by many and had a huge heart. He loved the outdoors; going camping, riding ATV’s and going hunting and fishing. He enjoyed going to the family camp, mud bogs, the Downhill Barbie Jeep Races at the side-by-side events and mini spontaneous vacations with his wife; they enjoyed Pymatuning Lake where they went to wineries, Amish stores and flea markets or sitting fireside at home. He enjoyed helping raise rabbits, chickens and turkeys with his wife, as well as working with her at her company. He had a passion for smoking meats and BBQ’ing. He is preceded in death by step-father – Harry Miller and two brothers – Richard and Rodney Golden. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years – Jennifer Reinstadtler Golden of Ruffsdale, PA, mother – Norma Miller, one step-son – Lee Samulski of Ruffsdale, PA, son – Nathan and wife Brittany of Normalville, PA, daughter – Stacy, two grandchildren, two sisters – Kelly Permuka and husband Bob of Greensburg, PA and Suzette Blystone and husband Willard of Mt. Pleasant, PA, nephew RJ and wife Lauren, and one fur baby – Oliver Short. Friends will be received on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A private funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Yukon, PA with Fr. Richard Ulam, O.S.B. officiating. A private interment will take place at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church Cemetery in Yukon, PA. In compliance with the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 40 people will be permitted at one time in the funeral home. Masks are required to be worn at all times while in the funeral home and social distancing is required.
