Larry F. Hague, 67, of Greensburg, PA passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 3, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, son of the late Franklin Hursh Hague and Betty (Peters) Hague. Larry was a graduate of Yough Senior High School Class of 1972. He then attended Westmoreland County Community College where he received his Associate’s Degree in welding. Larry was a 47-year member of the Hilltop United Methodist Church in Madison, PA. As well as, a member of the Local 66 Union and Youngwood Sportsman’s Association. Larry worked as a welder for Elliott’s Company in Jeannette, PA for 9 years. He also worked numerous years for CH&D and then retired from Gulisek Construction Company as a heavy equipment operator after 20+ years of service. Larry loved going hunting, spending time at his camp in Emporium, PA, going to the Sewickley Grange and attending various truck pulls. Larry loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren whom he adored. He enjoyed going out to eat and for ice cream. He kept in touch through Facebook and loved Facetiming with his grandchildren daily. Larry was a very hard worker who loved watching “wrastling” on television, listening to country music and sitting on his outdoor porch swing. He was preceded in death by both parents, two infant sons – James and Timothy, one grandson – Brayden Moore and one brother – Robert Hague. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years – Karla (Hoffman) Hague of Greensburg, PA, children – Tawny Moore and husband Brian of Connellsville, PA, Larry Hague Jr. and wife Jennifer of Acme, PA, Brandy Speerstra of Oil City, PA and Ashley Tedmus and husband Scott of Dublin, CA, and eight grandchildren – Kayla Moore (Justin), Natalie Moore (Dakoda), Mallory Moore, Brandon Flock, Jayme Flock, Jacob Hague, Kannon Speerstra and Easton Tedmus, one sister – Linda Swayze of Dacula, GA and one very special aunt that he was very close to – JoAnn Hyrtanski. Family and friends will be received from 3 – 6 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Sweet officiating. A private interment will follow at the Hillview Cemetery in Normalville, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hilltop United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 206, 222 Church Lane, Madison, PA 15663. Masks are highly recommended to be worn while in the funeral home.
