Larry A. Mencer, 71, of Ruffsdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA surrounded by his family. He was born June 27, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of the late Guy P. Jr. and Mildred (Batchko) Mencer. He graduated from Yough Senior High School Class of 1970. Larry was a long time member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Yukon, PA. He worked and retired as a machinist from Elliott Group in Jeannette, PA after 43 years of service. He is preceded in death by both parents and survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marsha A. (Govi) Mencer and two children, Matt and Maria. A private visitation and funeral mass of Christian burial were held at Seven Dolors Catholic Church. A private interment took place at Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery in Yukon, PA.
