Marjorie A. (Killinger) Lackey

Marjorie A. (Killinger) Lackey, 83, of Hutchinson, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 31, 1939 in Portage, PA. Daughter of the late Leo and Irene (Whitby) Killinger. Marjorie worked as a baker at Eat N’ Park in Irwin, PA for 15 years. In her younger years, she enjoyed going bowling, playing cards and playing Scrabble. Beginning in her teen years, she lived with her Aunt Ida Richardson. Ida and her family became her extended family and she appreciated all the love they provided. Marjorie enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies and nut rolls for her family for all the holidays and special occasions. She loved flowers and enjoyed listening to a variety of music. She was a coffee lover, enjoyed chocolate, shopping and watching movies with her friends. Marjorie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert W. Lackey Sr.; two daughters, Christine M. Lackey and Cindy L. Lackey and one grandson, Skylar Lackey. She is survived by two daughters, Mary E. Lackey of Hutchinson, PA and Debra (Timothy) Hoover of Saltsburg, PA; son, Robert W. (Denise) Lackey of Hempfield, PA; six grandchildren, Theresa, Brandon, Dustin, Amy, Laura and Logan; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Killinger of OH and David (Alice) Killinger of OH; step-sister, Patsy of Las Vegas, NV; special friends, Beverly, Allison, Eleanor, Cil, Theresa and Jeff. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of services – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Green officiating. A private interment will be held at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in Irwin, PA.
