Mark H. Jones

Mark H. Jones, 56, of New Wilmington, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2023 following a prolonged battle with cancer and Parkinson’s. He was born August 27, 1966 in Jeannette, PA. Son of Bonnie (Miller) Seda and the late Frank T. Seda. Mark graduated from Hempfield High School, Class of 1984, and worked for over 20 years as a mechanic at Ford of Greensburg and Pep Boys in Cranberry. He later enjoyed the company of his co-workers at Goodwill Industries in New Castle, PA. Mark enjoyed the great outdoors - hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, and boating - with both family and friends.  He loved intelligent conversation, the Pittsburgh Pirates, game shows, Amateur Radio and spending time with his beloved children, Hannah Marquelle Jones of Radford, VA and Mark Hayden Jones of New Castle, PA. He is also survived by his mother, Bonnie (Miller) Seda of Greensburg, PA; ex-wife and friend, Kimberly B. Koller-Jones of New Castle, PA; brother, Chris Jones of Greensburg, PA; sister, Kimberly Jones of Ligonier, PA and several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins - all of whom he all cherished. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Frank T. Seda and maternal grandparents, Charles and Helen Miller. Mark’s children would like to thank his numerous medical providers whose care offered them many more happy years with their father.  Memorial donations to your charity of choice are suggested in lieu of flowers. Friends will be received from 10:30 - 11:30 am on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA - Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Sweet as Celebrant. Interment will be private.
