Marlene M. (Fetter) Eutsey, 91, of Madison, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 19, 1932 in Hannastown, PA. Daughter of the late John Franklin and Irene L. (Nichols) Fetter. She graduated from Scottdale High School Class of 1950 and attended Downtown United Methodist Church in Madison, PA. Marlene was raised on the family farm with her five younger siblings. She was a hard worker; milking cows, hauling hay and babysitting her siblings. In her younger years, she enjoyed square dancing, roller skating and playing pinochle. She was also an excellent beautician. Marlene loved to travel all over the U.S. with her husband in their RV. They visited Nova Scotia, Mexica, California, Alaska and spent every winter in FL for 30 years. She is preceded in death by both parents; husband of 58 years, Gay E. Eutsey; grandson, Lane E. Blackson and brothers, Jack and Ken Fetter. She is survived by daughters, Vicky L. (Ron) Higgins of Madison, PA, Sharon G. (David) Derr of Madison, PA and Bonnie M. (Norman) Persio of Ligonier, PA; brother, Robert Fetter of Brockway, Pa.; sisters, Lois Miller of Penfield, PA and Connie Bell of CO; grandchildren, Holly Higgins-Kane, Lee E. Blackson, Derek Derr and Dustin Derr and great grandchildren, Dylan Kane, Levi Blackson, Hannah Derr, Lane E. Blackson, Betsy C. Blackson and Dellah Derr. Friends will be received from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Green officiating. Interment will follow at Eutsey Cemetery in White, PA. A special thanks to her caregivers, Sharon, Vicky, Holly, Cathy and Vicki. As well as, Dari Ann with Independence Hospice for all of her love and compassionate care provided to Marlene.
