Marlene (Lesnicky) Shotts

Marlene (Lesnicky) Shotts, 75, of West Newton, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Hempfield Manor in Greensburg, PA. She was born May 26, 1946 in Hutchinson, PA. Daughter of the late Adam and Laura (Kelloway) Lesnicky. Marlene attended the former Sewickley Township High School. She worked for Johnston the Florist and Foodarama in Madison, PA as a baker for many years. Marlene loved doing crafts, going to Bingo, playing cards and Yahtzee and watching game shows. She was an excellent baker, enjoyed gardening and listening to Celine Dion and Cher. She enjoyed vacationing with her family in Lancaster County, Big Bear, WV; fishing, camping and mini golfing. She is preceded in death by both parents, daughter – Marcy Lynn Feltes, one infant son, grandson – Joey Feltes, brother - Frank Lesnicky and sisters - Judy Dally, Karen Baker and Mary Lou McCurdy. She is survived by one daughter – Dawn Grubb and husband Larry of West Newton, PA, son – Eric Shotts of Scottdale, PA, ten grandchildren – Carla, Shawn, Bill, Bob, Erica, Kristy, Jessica, Timothy, Jesse and Heather, numerous great grandchildren and sister – Rose Dzubak and husband Bill of West Newton, PA. Friends will be received from 2 - 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA 15663 – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Sweet officiating. Interment will be private.
