MaryAnn (Shupe) Andriechack

MaryAnn Shupe Andriechack, 84, of Wyano, PA passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at Redstone Hospice in Greensburg, PA. She was born October 15, 1936 in Greensburg, PA. Daughter of the late Jacob and Annie Long Shupe. MaryAnn is preceded in death by both parents, her loving husband – Frank Andriechack, one brother – Charles Shupe and sister-in-law – Shirley Shupe. She is survived by three sons – Chris Andriechack of Wyano, PA, Mark Prettiman (Barb) of Jeannette, PA and Greg Prettiman (Terry) of Greensburg, PA. MaryAnn attended Harold High School and later received her GED. She attended WCCC in Youngwood, PA where she received a degree in office management. Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary for Mon Yough Mental Health for many years. She was an active member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and also a member of the Youngwood A&B Club. MaryAnn was a great cook and baker; making many delicious meals including her homemade pizza. She was a wonderful mother and she enjoyed water skiing and boating in her younger years with her family. She loved listening to music and attending polka dances, her collection of lighthouses and going to the casino every Mother’s Day.mShe loved traveling, going to the beaches and her favorite was attending Frank’s naval reunion in Seattle. Friends will be received on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4 – 8 pm at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A private service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 16, 2021 with Rev. Matt Birch officiating. Interment will follow at the West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, PA. In compliance with the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, 40 people will be permitted at one time into the funeral home. Masks are required to be worn at all times while in the funeral home and social distancing is required.
