Myrlen Ambrose Smith

Myrlen Ambrose Smith, 83, of New Stanton, Pa. died Thursday December 13, 2018 at Walden’s View of North Huntingdon. He was born October 20, 1935 in New Stanton, Pa. Son of the late Myrlen Ambrose and Marie Anna Wise Smith. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Greensburg Block Company as a truck driver. Myrlen was a very hard worker. He loved his dogs Angel and Daisy. He loved watching Western movies as well as wrestling. He loved to go hunting in Cane County, as well as camping at Scotty Land Campground, in his early years. He is preceded in death by both parents and survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rosella Smith of New Stanton, Pa., one son – Myrlen E. Smith and wife Christine of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., one daughter – Gina M. Smith of New Stanton, Pa., one grandchild – Michel A. Smith, one brother – Ralph Smith and wife Sally of Arona, Pa. and one sister – Sylvia Clem of New Castle, Pa. A private family viewing will be held Monday December 17, 2018, from 12pm-2pm at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc, Route 136, Main St. Madison, Pa. A service will be held at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Green officiating. A private interment will follow at the Middletown UMC Cemetery in Middletown, Pa..
