Nancy Lee (Fox) Lynn, 79, of Arona, Pa, passed away peacefully Monday, February 7, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 17, 1943 in Arona, PA. Daughter of the late James C. and Laura Edna (Henry) Fox. Nancy was a graduate of the former Sewickley Township High School Class of 1960. After graduation, she went on to receive her license as a nurse’s aide. Nancy worked at Westmoreland Manor as a nursing assistant for 3 years and then went on to become a home health aide for many years. She was a woman of amazing faith and attended Word of Life for 16 years. She was very caring and compassionate and enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Nancy was an excellent baker; making delicious apple dumplings and pies and having a cookie business for over 30yrs with her daughter Katheleen. She was very crafty, loved to work in her garden and can the produce. She enjoyed reading Amish books, working on seek and finds and listening to gospel music. She loved to bowl and was on a bowling league up until her early 70’s. Nancy enjoyed traveling; flying all over including places such as Paris, Germany, TN, FL, Niagara Falls and Philadelphia, PA for a malt milkshake from Nifty 50’s. She is preceded in death by both parents, loving husband of 48 years – John Lynn, four sisters – Beatrice Wise, Grace Todd, Sarah Burns and Doris Fox and four brothers – Henry, Gerald, Tommy and James Fox. She is survived by one daughter - Katheleen L. Sanner and husband John of Arona, PA, one son – John Lynn and significant-other Frank Thomas of Bradenton, FL, one grandson – Bradley Lee Sanner and wife Kristen of Latrobe, PA and two great grandchildren – Addison Rae and Elijah Paul Sanner. Friends will be received from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Interment will follow at Middletown United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greensburg, PA. The family would like to thank Karen and Elaine with AHN Hospice for all the loving compassionate care provided to their mother. As well as, special friend Joann Berlin for the support provided. Masks are highly recommended to be worn while in the funeral home.
