Paul McBeth Obituary

 

 

Paul E. McBeth, 77, of Madison, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA. He was born February 7, 1944 in Tarrs, PA. Son of the late Harry and Margaret Echard McBeth. Paul was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School Class of 1962. After High School, Paul went on to serve in the US Army where he was a Helicopter Gunner in the Vietnam War. Paul worked at several businesses through his lifetime, beginning with Robertshaw where he was a welder for 34 years, Kopp Glass where he made windows for airplanes and finally at the Westmoreland Manor where he worked in maintenance. Paul was a very dedicated member of the American Legion Post #446 and the VFW #3368 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. He loved to go hunting at his camp in McKean County at Lance's Corner, enjoyed gardening and watching Judge Judy. He is preceded in death by both parents, one sister – Shirley Pence and five brothers – Harry, Al, Ronnie, Terry and Bob McBeth. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years – Mildred T. Sever McBeth of Madison, PA, one daughter – Jennifer Kalp of Aliquippa, PA, one son – Jason McBeth of Washington, DC, three sisters – Linda Sullenberger of Tarrs, PA, Judy Mensch and husband Dahl of Scottdale, PA and Kim Greenawalt of Greensburg, PA, one brother – Denny McBeth of Tarrs, PA, one grandson – Caton P. Kalp and one great grandson – Braxton Kalp. A private visitation and service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA with Deacon Robert Stauffer officiating. – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A private interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA. with full military honors. In compliance with the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, masks are required to be worn at all times while in the funeral home and social distancing is required.
