Ralph “Buz” F. Spoonhoward, 70, of Arona, PA, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his home. He was born January 12, 1951 in Greensburg, PA. Son of the late Ralph F. Sr. and Vivian Natale Spoonhoward. Ralph was a graduate of the former Sewickley Township High School Class of 1969 and later in life attended California University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Art. Ralph was a machinist for Deb Co, a truck driver, owned his own gun shop business with his wife and a Door and Window Specialist for Stanford Home Center where he retired after many years of service. Ralph belonged to a Van Club, Pharaoh’s Car Club and the Corvette Club. He loved to drive his 74 Corvette to many car shows across the state with his wife by his side. Ralph was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved oldies and duwop music, was a great cook, was a jack of all trades, loved art and was a tattoo artist on the side. He loved trips to Lancaster, Lynn Run and Ohiopyle with his wife. Ralph had a great personality. He loved to make people laugh and was a great judge of character. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. He is preceded in death by both parents and one brother – William Spoonhoward. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years – Lohellen "BUBBA" (Mckeel) Spoonhoward of Arona, PA, one daughter – Cyndi Doppelhauer and husband Joseph of Greensburg, PA, three grandchildren – Gabriel, Gavin and Georgia Doppelhauer and one furbaby – PD, who was always at his side.
