Rebecca "Becky" J. (Lawson) Haines

Rebecca “Becky” J. Lawson Haines, 93, of New Stanton, Pa., died Monday, September 3, 2018 at Hempfield Manor. She was born September 16, 1924 in Yukon, Pa. Daughter of the late James D. and Rebecca E. Wentzle Lawson. She was a faithful member of the Downtown Madison UMC as well as an active member of the former Madison Golden Agers. Rebecca loved to be outside on her tractor cutting grass. She loved spending time with her husband, riding their motorcycle throughout the country, Canada and Mexico. She enjoyed playing the organ and watching WWE wrestling. Rebecca is preceded in death by both her parents. Husband Earl Dewey Haines. One son Barry Earl Haines. Two Grandsons James Robert Robosky and Michel Haines. Daughter in-law Lorrine Haines. Two infant brothers and two infant sisters. She is survived by two sons, James C. Haines and wife Nora of North Huntingdon, Pa. Jeffery Haines and wife Joanne of TN. One daughter Connie J. Robosky and husband Mike of North Huntingdon, Pa. Numerous grandchildren and Great grandchildren, and her faithful cat Missy and dog Sam. Friends will be received from 9:00am-11:30am, Friday, Sept 7, 2018 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Route 136 Main St. Madison, Pa. Services will be held at 11:30am Friday, September 7, 2018 at the funeral home, followed by Interment at the Madison Union Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Green officiating.
