Robert W. Feldmeier

Robert W. Feldmeier, 71, of Yukon, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born May 22, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of the late Jack and Verna (Guiser) Feldmeier and was raised by Verna as a single mother of 5, after her divorce.  He graduated from Wilkinsburg High School Class of 1970. He was a co-owner of RASP Electric Inc as an electrician and retired after 35 years of service. He was a very skilled and self-taught craftsman who shared his skills with his family and community. Bob was energetic, a rambunctious, hard-working man with a sharp wit and a good sense of humor and a love for his country. He was a Steeler fanatic, loved Christmas, holiday fireworks, cold weather and tobogganing. Bob loved being outdoors and always seemed to be impervious to the cold. He was rightfully proud of his home in Yukon which he continued to improve and enlarge during all the years he lived there. He enjoyed flower gardening with his wife, landscaping his lawn and hosting family cook-outs. He was very personable, friendly and impacted the lives of many. He is preceded in death by both parents; niece, Bonnie Johnston and nephew, Andrew Bruner. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Susan J. (Werton) Feldmeier; daughter, Autumn (Radman) Feldmeier-Lindsey of Miami, FL, son Eric (Christina) Feldmeier of Hollywood, FL; step-son, Billy Baciak of Charleroi, PA, step-daughter, Jessica Rotolo of Dunedin, FL; grandchildren, Ava Rotolo, Gavin Feldmeier; brothers, John “Jack” (Judy) Feldmeier of Bulverde, TX, Ralph (Joanne) Feldmeier of White Oak, PA and Lou (Jane) Feldmeier of Saugus, CA; sister, Diane (Joseph) Feldmeier-Johnston of Herminie, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the funeral home with Deacon Bob Stauffer officiating. Interment will follow at the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in N. Huntingdon, PA.
