Sue Ann Marsh, 75, of Irwin PA, formerly of Spring Hill, FL, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, after a long battle with cancer at home surrounded by family. She was born August 24,1945 in Lewistown, PA. Daughter of the late Elias and Lorraine Hewitt. Sue Ann was a graduate of Carlisle High School class of 1963 and an accomplished hairdresser having won the 1969 National Hair Cutting Championship in New York City. She loved to play the piano and was the organist for the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Arona, PA for over 15 years. She also loved volunteering with the Westmoreland Co. 4H program. In 2003, Sue moved to Spring Hill, Florida where she participated in the Elite Stock Club, Jibber Jabbers and Spring Hill bowling league where she met her late husband Ronald Marsh. They enjoyed boating, fishing, RV camping, and spending time with friends and family playing scrabble and chatting on the back porch of their family home. Sue had a very kind and trusting heart, loved everyone she met. Sue was a loving sister, mother, daughter, and above all; Nana to her six grandchildren, Zach, Desiree, Tyler, Blake, Jacob, and Anna-Marie. She was preceded in death by her father Elias in 2003, mother Lorraine in 2008, late husband Charles 2001, and love of her life, husband Ron in June, 2020. She is survived by her sister Barbara Adams of Camp Hill PA, and her three children Michelle Mixell of Plano Tx and husband John McClintock, Charles (Jerry) VanHorn of Greensburg PA and wife Michelle, Gretchen Shepler of Irwin PA and husband Jerome. She is also survived by her sisters-in- law and brother-in- law, an Aunt and Uncle and multiple cousins all of whom she loved dearly. Not to forget her dog Dippy. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:30 am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to: Susan G.
