Teri Lynn (Vozel) Barlock

Teri Lynn Vozel Barlock, 66, of Herminie, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 8, 1954 in Greensburg, PA. Daughter of the late Ludwig and Betty Jean Watt Vozel. Teri was a graduate of Hempfield High School Class of 1973. She was the owner of Tails End Pet Salon in Herminie, PA for over 17 years. She loved to take care of all her pet customers. They brought joy to her life every day. Teri was a member of the Herminie #2 United Methodist Church in Herminie, PA. Teri loved to crochet, bake, watch birds from her birdfeeder and read a wide variety of books. She loved to ride her Harley Sportster with her husband and friends and enjoyed riding her quad through many trails at the Allegheny National Forrest. She is preceded in death by both parents, one sister – Kerry Parish and two loving companions – Nikita and Maggie. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years - James T. Barlock of Herminie, PA, three sons – Jeremy Schutter and wife Linda of CA, Jason Schutter and significant other Bridgett of Sutersville, PA and Jamie Schutter of Herminie, PA, six grandchildren – Madison, Eric, Tristan, Autumn, Jonah and Sydney, one nephew – Vince and friend Paul Schutter. Friends will be received from 2 - 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA - Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A service will be held at 7:30 pm at the funeral home with Bob Fagin officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to Animal Friends of Westmoreland 216 Depot Street Youngwood, PA 15697. In compliance with the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 20 people will be permitted at one time into the funeral home. Masks are required to be worn at all times while in the funeral home and social distancing is required. Anyone wishing to come into the funeral home for visitation is required to stay in their vehicle until allowed to enter the funeral home by a parking lot attendant.
