William G. Pieniadz, 79, of Ruffsdale, PA, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, PA. He was born October 2, 1941 in Wilkinsburg, PA. Son of the late Alex and Lydia Chatlos Pieniadz. William was a graduate of Hempfield High School Class of 1959. Upon graduation, he joined the US Army National Guard where he served as a PVT E-2. William was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in West Newton, PA and the Indiana-Jeannette Outting Club. William was a very hard worker and held several jobs beginning with Hamilton Buick Pontiac and GMC then Westinghouse Trafford in East Pittsburgh, PA and then retiring with 25 years of service from Fisher Body as a machine repairman. He was a very dedicated husband and father; teaching his children many things throughout life. He enjoyed hunting with his grandchildren, working on his farm and camping with family. He is preceded in death by both parents and is survived by his loving wife of 58 years – Marlene R. Miller Pieniadz of Ruffsdale, PA, two sons – William Pieniadz and wife Cynthia of Jeannette, PA and Richard Pieniadz and wife Tracy of Ruffsdale, PA, one daughter – Susan Dean and husband Benjamin of Smithton, PA, five grandchildren – Courtney Lynn and husband Andrew, Caitlin Dean, Alexander Pieniadz and wife Heather, Emily Pieniadz and Izabella Pieniadz, two great grandchildren – Josie Lynn and Max Lynn, one brother – Gene Pieniadz, one uncle – William Chatlos and loving companion Buddy. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA with Pastor Jacob Brohn officiating. Interment will follow. A memorial service will be held at a later date yet to be announced. Beatty-Rich Funeral Home Madison, PA in charge of arrangements – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD.
