Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. began as the John Albright Sr. Funeral Home, established by the late John Albright Sr., on March 13, 1867. It continued under his ownership until his death and then the business was carried on under the direction of his son, the late John Albright Jr. Upon his death, the business was purchased by the late James M. Beatty and continued on until his death in November 1974. The business was then purchased by Ronald A. Rich Sr. on March 15, 1984, and was Supervisor until 2020 when his son Ronald A. Rich Jr. became Supervisor / Funeral Director and currently runs the funeral home. The funeral home still remains under the name of Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. The funeral home, since its establishment, has remained at its present site in the small community of Madison, Pennsylvania.

Supervisor / Funeral Director

Graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Receiving  degrees in Embalming, Funeral Directing and Funeral Service Management.  Also receiving the high honor, William J. Musmanno Memorial Award for outstanding ability, attitude, commitment and achievement in the clinical setting for maintaining the highest standards of decorum and professionalism. A graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. in 2004, he became Master cosmetologist and restorative artist. He is a Social member of the Madison VFC, as well as serving as Mayor of Madison, Pa.

Ronald A. Rich Sr.

Funeral Director

Graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Class of 1965. Ronald Sr. has been serving the community and surrounding area since 1965 working as Supervisor for various Funeral Homes in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties until he purchased his own funeral home 1974 off of the late James M. Beatty. Serving thousands of families through some of their most difficult times.

Graduating from  Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Science in Management, Leah works along side her husband Ronald Rich Jr. From Making custom memorial folders, videos and tributes, to greeting families and tending to their needs, never leaving their side as they go through a very difficult time.

Pedo is a 19 month old West Highland White Terrier. (Hypoallergenic) He is loving and always wanting to lick and kiss you. He loves to be pet and rubbed and always in the mood to play catch with one of his toys. So don't be supprised if you happen to see a little white doggie come running up to you.
